  South central Willacy County in Deep South Texas...

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 942 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Porfirio, or
  9 miles northwest of Arroyo City, moving south at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Los Fresnos, Rio Hondo, Arroyo City, Laureles, Brownsville, Palmer
  Laasko Elementary, Rancho Viejo City Hall, Lozano, Holly Beach, and
  Rio Hondo City Hall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.

away from windows.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
