* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Henry County in southeastern Iowa...
  Northeastern Van Buren County in southeastern Iowa...
  Southeastern Washington County in southeastern Iowa...
  Eastern Jefferson County in southeastern Iowa...

* Until 430 PM CDT.

* At 343 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Lake Darling State Park to near Mount Zion,
  moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mount Pleasant, Wayland, Ainsworth, Salem, Stockport, Lockridge,
  Crawfordsville, Olds, Hillsboro, Rome, Westwood, Coppock, Henry
  County Fairgrounds, Oakland Mills, Glasgow, Morris Park, Utica,
  Germanville, Haskins, and Round Prairie Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for southeastern
and east central Iowa.
