The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Yuma County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 600 PM MDT.

* At 526 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 13 miles southeast of Highland Center to 5 miles
  southeast of Lone Star, moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northwestern Yuma County, including the following locations...
  Clarkville.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 266 and 270.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for northeastern
Colorado.
