Hazardous WeatherCaster
The Southern Indiana Weather Spotter's Reference is proud to introduce Hazardous WeatherCaster, an experimental technology pioneered by this web service that leverages the resources of the National Digital Forecast Database (NDFD), the expertise of the Storm Prediction Center, and the insight of the local National Weather Service Forecast Office. With this unique service you receive an eight day hazardous weather risk assessment custom tailored for a specific geographic location which includes the most likely risk modes, forecast timing, as well as a weather spotter call to action statement.

In the days leading up to potential severe weather, the Southern Indiana Weather Spotter's Reference News of the Day automatically flags when there is a SLIGHT, MODERATE, or HIGH risk of locally severe weather forecast by the Storm Prediction Center. You may receive several days advance notice of significant severe weather outbreaks!

This service is brought to you by The Southern Indiana Weather Spotter's Reference, always striving to bring you the best and most timely weather information on the Internet.
