The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Albany County in southeastern Wyoming...
  Southern Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming...

* Until 645 PM MDT.

* At 553 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Ranchettes to Winchester Hills to 7 miles
  northeast of Livermore, moving southeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated and surface observations of 1-inch hail.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cheyenne, Happy Valley, Willadsen Estates, Rocking Star Ranch,
  Silver Sage Estates, Harriman Heights, Laramie County Fairgrounds
  at Archer, Hillsdale, Fox Farm-College, Cheyenne Regional Airport,
  Winchester Hills, South Greeley Highway, Ranchettes, Warren AFB,
  Frontier Park, Whitaker, North Cheyenne, South Cheyenne, Carpenter,
  and Bison Crossing.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 1 and 30.
 Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 345 and 386.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.
