* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Reno County in south central Kansas...
  Sedgwick County in south central Kansas...
  Southwestern Harvey County in south central Kansas...
  Northeastern Harper County in south central Kansas...
  Northeastern Kingman County in south central Kansas...
  Western Sumner County in south central Kansas...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 526 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Plevna to 5 miles northeast of Pretty Prairie
  to near Garden Plain to 9 miles northwest of Caldwell, moving 
  north at 20 mph. This warning replaces the previous Severe 
  Thunderstorm Warning.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Wichita, Hutchinson, Haysville, Park City, Valley Center, Goddard,
  Maize, Kingman, Clearwater, South Hutchinson, Cheney, Colwich,
  Conway Springs, Haven, Nickerson, Caldwell, Garden Plain, Mount
  Hope, Pretty Prairie, and Downtown Wichita.

This includes Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 1 and 2, and
between Mile Markers 4 and 12.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
