  Northern Clarke County in northwestern Virginia...
  The City of Winchester in northwestern Virginia...
  Central Jefferson County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...
  Southeastern Berkeley County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...

* Until 245 PM EDT.

* At 139 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 8 miles northwest of Winchester to near Stephens
  City, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches 
           to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as 
           damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by 
           downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. 
           Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Winchester, Charles Town, Millwood Pike, Ranson, Berryville,
  Inwood, Stephens City, Kearneysville, Corporation Of Ranson,
  Middleway, Winebrenners Cross, Cedar Grove, Gaylord, Clear Brook,
  Ridgeway, Bunker Hill, Stephenson, Cedar Hill, Albin, and
  Stringtown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
