  St. Landry Parish in central Louisiana...

* Until 1030 PM CST.

* At 931 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Holloway to near Bunkie to near Duralde, moving east
  at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Alexandria, Opelousas, Pineville, Eunice, Ville Platte, Marksville,
  Bunkie, Mamou, Simmesport, Krotz Springs, Leonville, Melville,
  Moreauville, Cheneyville, Turkey Creek, Palmetto, Bordelonville,
  Bayou Current, Morrow, and Effie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
