  Northern Iredell County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

* Until 530 PM EDT.

* At 452 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles east of
  Taylorsville, or 4 miles north of Stony Point, moving east at 20
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Statesville, Stony Point, Harmony, Love Valley, Hiddenite,
  Turnersburg, Olin, Vashti, Scotts, and Cool Springs.

building.

Damaging wind and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring
