* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Iberia Parish in south central Louisiana...
  St. Mary Parish in south central Louisiana...
  Southeastern St. Martin Parish in south central Louisiana...

* Until 1230 AM CST.

* At 1140 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Baton Rouge to 12 miles west of Burns Point,
  moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  New Iberia, Morgan City, Franklin, Patterson, Jeanerette, Berwick,
  Burns Point, Belle River, Bayou Vista, Cypremort Point,
  Stephensville, Baldwin, Loreauville, Ellerslie, Patterson Memorial
  Airport, Lydia, Sorrel, Amelia, Glencoe, and Cote Blanche Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CST for south central
and southwestern Louisiana.
