  Southeastern Mecklenburg County in south central Virginia...
  Southern Brunswick County in south central Virginia...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 523 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ebony, or 9
  miles south of Brodnax, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Gasburg around 530 PM EDT.
  Barley around 545 PM EDT.
  Gaston around 600 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Ante,
Brink, Gum Forks, Triplet, Bowens Corner, Henrico, White Plains,
Vultare, Valentines, and Slates Corner.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near John Kerr Reservoir or Lake Gaston, get away from the 
water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can 
strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear 
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to 
safe shelter now!  Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
