* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Calhoun County in southwestern Illinois...
  Greene County in southwestern Illinois...
  Northwestern Jersey County in southwestern Illinois...
  Northeastern Lincoln County in east central Missouri...

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 547 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  5 miles northwest of Roodhouse to 5 miles northeast of Davis, or
  along a line from 7 miles northwest of White Hall to 9 miles north
  of Troy, moving northeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Elsberry, Hamburg, Kampsville, Roodhouse, Michael, Hardin,
  Haypress, Eldred, Walkersville, White Hall, Fieldon, Woody,
  Belltown, Berdan, Carrollton, Athensville, Wrights, Old Kane, Kane
  and Greenfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for portions of
southwest Illinois and east central Missouri.
