* At 715 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Breckenridge to Gladstone, moving northeast at
  40 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Kansas City, Liberty, Gladstone, Excelsior Springs, Chillicothe,
  Smithville, Kearney, Parkville, Lawson, Lathrop, Hamilton,
  Weatherby Lake, Claycomo, Pleasant Valley, Braymer, Lake Waukomis,
  Polo, Glenaire, Holt, and Platte Woods.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 11 and 47.
 Interstate 29 between mile markers 4 and 10.
 Interstate 435 between mile markers 38 and 52.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for north
central, northwestern and west central Missouri.
