  Northwestern Hamilton County in south central Illinois...
  Franklin County in south central Illinois...

* Until 545 PM CST.

* At 501 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 7 miles south of Woodlawn to 6 miles west of
  Elkville, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  West Frankfort, Benton, Du Quoin, Christopher, Rend Lake Area,
  Sesser, Elkville, Valier, West City, Tamaroa, Thompsonville, Ina,
  North City, Dahlgren, Buckner, Waltonville, Dowell, Bonnie, Orient,
  and Hanaford.

This includes Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 66 and
86.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
