* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Meigs County in southeastern Ohio...
  Southwestern Wirt County in northwestern West Virginia...
  Northeastern Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia...
  Southwestern Wood County in northwestern West Virginia...

* Until 1015 PM EDT.

* At 946 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Rutland to 8 miles southwest of Mineralwells,
  moving east at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Forked Run State Park, Ravenswood, Chester, Portland, Lucille,
  Peewee, Harrisonville, Belleville, Reedsville, and Rockport.

This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 148
and 161.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning 
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately to shelter 
inside a strong building. Stay away from windows. Lightning is one 
of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you 
are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for northwestern
West Virginia.
