  Northeastern Transylvania County in western North Carolina...
  Northwestern Henderson County in western North Carolina...
  Southwestern Buncombe County in western North Carolina...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 528 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southwest
  of Downtown Asheville, or near B.R. Parkway-Mount Pisgah To The Nc
  Arboretum, moving southeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind 
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Arden, Mills River, Fletcher, Etowah, Mountain Home, Bent Creek,
  B.R. Parkway-Mount Pisgah To The Nc Arboretum, Asheville Airport,
  Mount Pisgah, and Skyland.
