GOODLAND KS WARNING ISSUED: Jul 9 2026 7:26 PM MDT EXPIRES: 815 PM MDT/915 PM CDT/.
* At 725 PM MDT/825 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along
a line extending from 12 miles south of St. Francis to 3 miles
northwest of Ruleton, moving southeast at 30 mph.
THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR northwestern Sherman County and
southern Cheyenne counties.
HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Automated station reported a 79 MPH wind gust in
northwestern Sherman County
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
