...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM EDT
FOR SCREVEN, ALLENDALE, COLLETON AND HAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 1003 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
22 miles north of Ulmer to near Barton, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Allendale, Fairfax, Sycamore, Ulmer, Barton, Seigling, Appleton,
  Allendale County Airport and Milbury.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.

Increased rotation has been detected and a Tornado Warning may be
needed. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop
quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado, take
shelter in a closet, bathroom or small, central room in a sturdy
structure.

Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or
lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover.
Seek shelter immediately inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM EDT for portions of
southeast Georgia and southeast South Carolina.
