...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CST
FOR SOUTHEASTERN LIMESTONE...SOUTHEASTERN FRANKLIN...MORGAN AND
LAWRENCE COUNTIES...

At 801 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Harvest to near Huntsville International Airport 
to 7 miles west of Brushy Lake, moving east at 40 mph. These storms 
have downed trees and powerlines in Lawrence County. 

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Emergency management.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Decatur, Madison, Hartselle, Moulton, Priceville, Trinity, Falkville,
Courtland, Tanner, and Somerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CST for north central
and northwestern Alabama.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
