...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CST
FOR NORTHWESTERN JACKSON AND MADISON COUNTIES...

At 818 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles north of New Market to near Alabama A And M
University to near Redstone Arsenal, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Huntsville, Moores Mill, Redstone Arsenal, Meridianville, Hazel
Green, Owens Cross Roads, Gurley, Woodville, Triana, and Marshall
Space Flight Center.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CST for north central
Alabama.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of 
a building. These storms have produced widespread wind damage in 
Limestone and Lauderdale Counties!
