...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CST
FOR NORTHEASTERN BLOUNT COUNTY...

At 731 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Altoona, or 9
miles northeast of Oneonta, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Emergency management.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors may be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Oneonta, Cleveland, Altoona, Snead, Susan Moore, Walnut Grove, Rosa,
and Hendrix.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm is producing large hail larger than golf ball size. SEEK 
SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
