FOR POWESHIEK...EASTERN MARSHALL...SOUTHERN BLACK HAWK...TAMA...
NORTHERN MAHASKA...SOUTHEASTERN GRUNDY AND EASTERN JASPER COUNTIES...

At 846 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Reinbeck to near Clutier to near Brooklyn, moving
northeast at 65 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Marshalltown, Grinnell, Toledo, Montezuma, Tama, La Porte City,
Traer, Reinbeck, Brooklyn, Dysart, Conrad, Meskwaki Casino, Rock
Creek Lake, Gladbrook, Le Grand, Victor, Sully, Garwin, Gilman, and
Holiday Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 between mile markers 176 and 204.
 Interstate 380 between mile markers 56 and 62.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

south central Iowa.
