...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM CST
FOR SOUTHEASTERN CLINTON AND NORTHEASTERN CLAY COUNTIES...

At 423 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Kearney, moving
northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. This storm has produced funnel clouds that 
         were observed by the public, local fire departments, and on 
         traffic cameras. These have dissipated since those reports. 

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Liberty, Excelsior Springs, Kearney, Lawson, Holt, Mosby, and
Prathersville.

This includes Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 21 and
37.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
