...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN MINNEHAHA...NORTHWESTERN LINCOLN...SOUTHERN
MCCOOK...TURNER AND NORTHEASTERN HUTCHINSON COUNTIES...

At 716 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Canistota to near Monroe to near Freeman, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. Two rounds of 
         strong winds are expected within this warning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
  Lake Vermillion State Recreation Area, Marion, Canistota, and 
  Monroe around 720 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Parker, Montrose, Humboldt, Hartford, Wall Lake, Hurley, Chancellor
and Lennox.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Sioux Falls.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
