...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN POTTAWATTAMIE AND SOUTHEASTERN HARRISON COUNTIES...

At 326 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles north of
Crescent, or 14 miles north of Omaha, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement report of quarter sized hail east of 
         Missouri Valley at 3:34 PM.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Persia.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 29 between mile markers 63 and 72.
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 27 and 29.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for southwestern
Iowa...and east central Nebraska.
