...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN CHEROKEE AND BUENA VISTA COUNTIES...

At 338 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Truesdale, or 
7 miles north of Storm Lake, moving northeast at 25 mph. Another 
storm north of Battle Creek may move in to southeast Cherokee county 
as well.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Sioux Rapids, Marathon and Albert City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for northwestern
and west central Iowa.
