...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN CLARK...EAST CENTRAL JACKSON AND TAYLOR COUNTIES...

At 252 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles southeast of Jump River to Colby to 10 miles
southwest of Pittsville, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Medford, Abbotsford, Spencer, Loyal, Owen, Rib Lake, Dorchester,
Chelsea, Westboro, Shortville, Colby, Lynn, Longwood, Stetsonville,
Goodrich, Withee, Granton, Unity, Curtiss, and City Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
La Crosse.
