...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM CST
FOR NORTHWESTERN VERNON PARISH IN WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND NORTHERN
NEWTON COUNTIES...

At 657 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mayflower, or 9
miles west of Toledo Bend Dam, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Toledo Bend Dam, Hornbeck, Burr Ferry, and Mayflower.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CST for southeastern
Texas. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 200 AM CST for
west central Louisiana.
