...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CST FOR
SOUTHEASTERN SABINE PARISH AND SOUTHEASTERN SABINE COUNTY...

At 705 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 7
miles east of Milam to 20 miles southeast of Hemphill, or along a
line from 38 miles southeast of Center to 56 miles southwest of
Natchitoches, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Milam, Florien, Columbus and Fairmount.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.

If on or near the Toledo Bend Reservoir, get away from the water and
move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out
to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CST for portions of
northwest Louisiana and northeast Texas.
