FOR WESTERN BLUE EARTH, BROWN, CENTRAL NICOLLET AND NORTHERN WATONWAN
COUNTIES...

At 1123 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hanska, or 11
miles south of New Ulm, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  New Ulm, Sleepy Eye, Lake Crystal, Madelia, Springfield, Morgan,
  Courtland, Hanska, Comfrey, Garden City, Judson, La Salle, Evan,
  Cobden, Essig, Flandrau State Park, New Ulm Airport, Searles and
  Grogan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
