...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN CHIPPEWA AND SOUTHEASTERN LAC QUI PARLE COUNTIES...

At 729 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles south of
Watson, or 5 miles west of Montevideo, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Lac Qui Parle State Park, Watson, Montevideo Airport, Montevideo
  and Boyd.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
