NORTHERN JEFFERSON...SOUTHWESTERN NEWTON...EAST CENTRAL HARDIN...
ORANGE AND SOUTHEASTERN JASPER COUNTIES...

At 748 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Devils Pocket to near Mauriceville to near
Beaumont, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Beaumont, Orange, Nederland, Port Neches, Vidor, Bridge City,
Deweyville, Starks, Central Gardens, Mauriceville, Buna, China, Rose
City, Pine Forest, Lakeview, Weiss Bluff, Gist, Hartburg, Forest
Heights, and Orangefield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CST for southeastern
Texas. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 200 AM CST for
southwestern Louisiana.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
