...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CST
FOR NORTHWESTERN RAPIDES AND NORTHEASTERN VERNON PARISHES...

At 828 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 miles southwest of Montgomery to near Slagle,
moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Lena, Clifton, Flatwoods, Hutton, and Simpson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CST for central and
west central Louisiana.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

building.
