...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN HOWARD...NORTHWESTERN FAYETTE...SOUTHERN WINNESHIEK AND
CHICKASAW COUNTIES...

At 130 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Cresco to near Jerico to New Hampton to 7 miles
west of Fredericksburg, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
         roofs, and outbuildings.

These severe storms will be near...
  Cresco, New Hampton, Fredericksburg, Lawler, and Protivin around 
  135 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Ridgeway, Spillville, Waucoma, Calmar, Fort Atkinson and Decorah.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
La Crosse.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
