...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM CST
FOR EASTERN BEAUREGARD...NORTH CENTRAL CALCASIEU...SOUTHEASTERN
VERNON AND WESTERN ALLEN PARISHES...

At 839 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Sugartown to Dry Creek to near Buhler, moving
east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Reeves, Dry Creek, Pitkin, Sugartown, Mittie, Ragley, Grant, Buhler,
Harmony, Leblanc, Gillis, and Bundick Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CST for southwestern
and west central Louisiana.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
