...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN COOK COUNTY...

At 836 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 11 miles northeast of Navy Pier to East Chicago to
Frankfort, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

These severe storms will be near...
  Calumet City, Chicago Heights, Lansing, Harvey, Dolton, Park 
  Forest, Homewood, Matteson, Frankfort, and Steger around 840 PM 
  CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include East
Hazel Crest, Burnham, South Chicago Heights, Hegewisch, East Side,
and Riverdale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northeastern
Illinois.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
