NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON...SOUTHWESTERN LINN AND EASTERN IOWA
COUNTIES...

At 411 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Norway to near Oxford to near Kinross, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Marengo, Marion, Coralville, North Liberty,
Williamsburg, Fairfax, Solon, Tiffin, Ely, Walford, Wellman,
University Heights, North English, Swisher, Oxford, Hills,
Shueyville, and Norway.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 217 and 251.
 Interstate 380 between mile markers 1 and 23.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for southeastern
and east central Iowa.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.
