...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM CST
FOR ELMORE...WESTERN MACON...SOUTHWESTERN TALLAPOOSA...MONTGOMERY AND
SOUTHEASTERN COOSA COUNTIES...

At 915 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Titus to near Elmore to near Boylston to Montgomery to
near Dannelly Field, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Montgomery, Prattville, Millbrook, Tuskegee, Wetumpka, Tallassee,
Equality, Milstead, Pike Road, Elmore, Coosada, Deatsville, Eclectic,
Shorter, Franklin, Martin Dam, Hyundai Motors Of Alabama, Santuck,
Auburn University In Montgomery, and Titus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM CST for central, south
central, southeastern and east central Alabama.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
