...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM CST
FOR CENTRAL IBERIA...ST. MARY AND SOUTHEASTERN ST. MARTIN PARISHES...

At 1146 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Shenandoah to 7 miles west of Burns Point, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Morgan City, Franklin, Patterson, Jeanerette, Berwick, Bayou Vista,
Stephensville, Burns Point, Baldwin, Ellerslie, Patterson Memorial
Airport, Glencoe, Sorrel, Cote Blanche Island, Amelia, Lake Fausse
Pointe, Charenton, and Centerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CST for south central
Louisiana.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

building.
