TAYLOR...CUMBERLAND...WESTERN ADAIR AND METCALFE COUNTIES...

At 100 AM EDT/1200 AM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from near Campbellsville to 7 miles southeast of
Edmonton, moving northeast at 85 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Tompkinsville, Edmonton, Burkesville, Leslie, Pickett,
Littrell, Curtis, Absher, and Node.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM EDT/400 AM CDT/ for
south central and central Kentucky.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
