...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN PUTNAM AND CENTRAL BUREAU COUNTIES...

At 634 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Tiskilwa, or
near Princeton, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Princeton, Hennepin, Spring Valley, DePue, Granville, Ladd, Bureau 
  Junction, Mark, Malden, Seatonville, Dalzell, Cherry and 
  Arlington.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 50 and 73.
 Interstate 180 between mile markers 1 and 13.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for north central
Illinois.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
the Quad Cities.
