FOR FRANKLIN AND NORTHEASTERN RIPLEY COUNTIES IN SOUTHEASTERN
INDIANA...SOUTHWESTERN UNION COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL INDIANA AND
NORTHERN DEARBORN COUNTIES IN SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA...

At 916 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Oldenburg,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Batesville, Brookville, Bright, Oldenburg, Logan, Blooming Grove,
Sunman, Metamora, St. Leon, Laurel, Cedar Grove, Mounds State
Recreation Area, Dover, Ballstown, Penntown, Interstate 74 at State
Route 101, Interstate 74 at US Route 52, Peppertown, Sharptown, and
New Trenton.

This includes I-74 in Indiana between mile markers 149 and 170.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

building.
