...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN CHASE...NORTHWESTERN BUTLER AND SOUTHEASTERN MARION
COUNTIES...

At 739 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Burns, or 12
miles south of Florence, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Fire Department. At 7:36 pm, the Potwin Fire Department 
         reported wind gusts up to 60 mph. 

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
El Dorado, Florence, Potwin, Burns, Cassoday, Matfield Green, Cedar
Point, Wonsevu, El Dorado Lake, and El Dorado State Park.

This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 68 and 106.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Wind damage with this storm may occur before any rain. SEEK SHELTER 
IMMEDIATELY inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows.

If on or near El Dorado Lake, get off the water and move indoors. 
Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent 
thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be 
struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not be caught on 
the water in a thunderstorm.
