...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT
FOR PUTNAM AND SOUTHEASTERN BUREAU COUNTIES...

At 702 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Hollowayville to Chillicothe, moving northeast at 55
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Hennepin, Spring Valley, Granville, Dalzell, McNabb, Mark, 
  Magnolia, Standard and Florid.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 71 and 72.
 Interstate 180 between mile markers 1 and 5.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for north central
Illinois.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
the Quad Cities.
